Matt helped invent the format, system, and science of viral videos in the publishing world at Business Insider, NowThis, New York Magazine, Men’s Health, and others. He produced and oversaw over 2,000+ pieces of video content (both branded and editorial) that generated well over 5 billion video views across platforms. He’s worked on viral video campaigns with brands such as Toyota, the National Football League, Campbell’s, Chase Bank, Verizon, Adobe, Tidal, Fresh Direct, and many others. Matt left the publishing world in 2018 and teamed up with online content specialist, Jamie Barber, to create Guide Social, so he could bring viral branded video and conversion-based, creative YouTube advertising to companies all over the world.
Jamie Barber is the CXO of Guide Social. Jamie has over a decade in marketing experience and has worked on countless accounts. She started in the world of SEO helping numerous blogs rise to the top of Google search results. She then focused her efforts on Google advertising using ninja-like skills (though she won’t admit it) to bring clients incredible Google Ads results. Since YouTube is on the Google Ads platform, YouTube advertising was an easy transition. Her favorite part of marketing is getting emails from excited clients with happy exclamation marks, and brainstorming creative ways to get results.
